Glenmuir Utd play Woodview Celtic in DKIT on Sunday the 9th, both teams started strong with their keepers being called into action on several occassions,
Glenmuir's keeper Aaron Dunlop was again very confident in goal and commanded his area well denying Woodview on more that one occassion. The deadlock was
eventually broken when Glenmuir striker Sameul Ezenwaka was fouled on the edge of the box and Samuel scored with an excellent strike from the resulting
free-kick.
Woodview always posed a threat and the Glenmuir defence had to deal with several attacks but Nathan kirk, Nathan Hearty, Leon Browne and Cian Mulligan
reacted well to keep them out. It was from one of these attacks than Glenmuir countered with a quick kick out from Aaron Dunlop to Liam McStravick whose pass
put Samuel Ezenwaka one on one with the keeper and despite pressure from the Woodview defender Samuel slotted the ball home.
The second half continued with both teams playing good attacking football and Woodview pressed Glenmuir winning a series of corners with Ben walsh and Rory e
always a threat but James O'Connell, Niall Kilgallen and Cormac Ryan reacted to any danger. Glenmuir's 3rd goal came from a break down the right and Robbie
Ryan pull the ball accross to Niall O'Callaghan who dragged the ball back and hit the ball on the turn into the left corner.
Tom waktins and David Weir kept the pressure on and Glenmuir's 4th came from a corner ball that dropped to Niall O'Callghan to tap in for his second goal.
Liam McStravick came close after a good through ball but his shot pulled just wide of the post.
